At Post Man, we strive to provide accurate and timely shipping estimates for all orders. Due to the size, weight, and nature of our products (steel posts, bollards, and related materials), shipping costs and delivery requirements may vary.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined in this Shipping Policy.
Shipping Rates & Estimates
- Shipping rates provided at checkout are estimates only and are subject to change.
- Final shipping costs may vary based on:
- Delivery location
- Order size, weight, and pallet requirements
- Carrier adjustments or surcharges
If additional charges are required, customers will be notified and are responsible for payment prior to delivery or release of the shipment.
Pallet Fees
- Orders may require palletization for safe transport.
- Pallet fees may be applied and are not always included in initial shipping estimates.
- These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Residential Deliveries
- Post Man does not guarantee residential delivery services.
- If a shipment is delivered to a residential address:
- Additional carrier fees may apply
- The customer is responsible for all residential delivery surcharges
Liftgate & Offloading Services
- Deliveries requiring special handling (including but not limited to liftgate service, pallet jack use, or manual offloading) may incur additional charges.
- These services are typically required when:
- No loading dock or forklift is available at delivery location
- All such fees are the responsibility of the customer
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Ensuring the delivery address is accurate and accessible
- Having proper equipment or personnel available to receive and unload shipments
- Paying any additional charges incurred during transit or delivery, including:
- Re-delivery fees
- Storage fees
- Carrier service adjustments
Delivery & Carrier Terms
- All shipments are handled by third-party freight carriers (e.g., FedEx Freight or similar providers).
- Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
- Post Man is not responsible for:
- Carrier delays
- Missed delivery appointments
- Additional charges incurred by the carrier due to delivery conditions
Order Changes & Additional Charges
If shipping conditions change after checkout (including address changes, access limitations, or service requirements), additional charges may apply and will be billed to the customer.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
- Customers must inspect shipments upon delivery.
- Any visible damage must be noted with the carrier at time of delivery.
- Claims for damage or loss must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
